"AOC CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE - ROUGE"
Our cellar
  • Nature of the soils: The ground is covered with rolled pebbles that retain the heat during the day and radiate it to the vines throughout the night.
  • Varieties: Grenache noir 70%, Syrah 15%, Mourvèdre 15%
  • Alcohol by vol: 14.5°
  • Annual volume: 2 000 bottles.
  • Ageing: from 8 to 10 years in cellar.
  • Wine-making techniques:
The grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand. The vinification is made through a traditional process with a maceration time from 18 to 21 days. The wine is aged during 12 months in oak barrels.
  • Tasting notes:
An intense rubis purple colour. The nose develops aromas of ripe red and black grilled fruits. The palate reveals a magnificient density and the presence of tannins, both soft and elegant. A lovely finish on the fruits. This wine is best served at 18-19°C and pairs well with red meat, grilled or in sauce, and cheese.
